Participation
Safety is our first priority whilst training; training is inherently risky so always be mindful of your actions and respectful of others. If you are unsure about any activity or have any injuries, please tell us so that an alternative can be provided.

Following are the rules of participation:

  • Remove all jewellery before arriving (earings, noserings, necklaces, etc)
  • Be respectful to the group at all times
  • Always take your garbage away with you -- ABSOLUTELY NO LITTERING!
  • Remember, we are here to train. If you want to chat on the phone, play football, or otherwise distract from the class, please don't bother to come
  • Do not bring any live weaponary. You may bring training weapons (rubber knives, boxing gloves, etc) if agreed by the instructor prior to the training session

What to bring/wear

  • Soft training shoes (e.g. trainers) - note: training in sand does not mean training barefoot!
  • Light-weight, comfortable training clothes, such as a track-suite
  • At least 1/2 litre of bottled water or energy drink, more in the summer
  • Scuba mask or swimming goggles and towel (for Seaview Dojo sessions)

Acceptance of Risk
Training brings with it many risks. Participants are required to sign and agree to a waiver of liability before being allowed to participate. If you are planning to attend for the first time, please request this form before attending so that it can be sent to you in advance. If you agree to the conditions, print and sign the form and bring it with you to your first training session.

Why Seaview Dojo?
Firstly, the location is free, so you save money by not having to pay-out for renting a training hall. But most importantly, it means that we get to train outdoors, in the environment of which we live and love. Yes, it gets hot in the summer.. which provides us an ideal training ground for both the mental and physical conditioning that's part of the package in SMAC 360 training!
